Please be advised that, the Surface Transportation Board has approved the acquisition of Central Maine & Quebec Railway US Inc. (CMQR US) on May 4, 2020, and as modified on May 7, 2020 which, coupled with the acquisition of Central Maine & Quebec Railway Canada Inc. (CMQR Canada) that closed on December 30, 2019, completes the acquisition of CMQR network by Canadian Pacific (CP).

As wholly owned subsidiaries, CMQR US and CMQR Canada will be adopting CP’s accessorial tariffs for supplemental services, fuel and environmental surcharge tariffs.

The charges and related terms and conditions in these tariffs will take effect on June 10, 2020 and will be applicable to all customers that have been shipping on CMQR freight publications, except where alternate terms and fees have been agreed in a customer’s confidential contract.
